Ruby's uses email to inform students of deadlines and other class info

throughout their class session. We will not use it for any other purpose.

REFUND POLICY:
Refund Policy: Class payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Circumstances which may allow for refunds are:
1) A physician's note stating a condition that prevents the student from working in clay or at the studio.
2) Instances of extreme, unexpected hardship. This may include the death or serious illness of someone close. Exceptions of this kind are granted at the discretion of the manager.
Changes in a student's priorities, job or vacation plans do not constitute the means for a refund. Having stated this, studio managers will attempt to assist students by granting partial refunds if a replacement student can be found for the class. When replacements are found (before the third class), students are granted a refund equal to the pro-rated amount paid by the new student, less a $20 fee for accounting and management services.Classes.html
The cost is $270 for an evening class (Tues. & Thurs. PM) or $260 for a the Tues. morning class . These classes are eight weeks long. The class fee covers instruction, studio time,, use of over twenty high fire glazes, and firing of your work. Tools and clay are not provided; however Ruby’s provides these materials at a greatly discounted rate. Classes are limited to ten students. Studio time is unlimited for all students during the eight weeks of their class. Guaranteed firing is limited to the work made with 25 lbs of clay. Additional work (within reason) is fired free of charge, as space permits. Registration for classes requires FULL PAYMENT FOR THE CLASS. Payments may be mailed to Ruby’s or left in the manager’s “lock-box” at the same address. Spots cannot be held without full payment. Please include a completed registration form with your deposit. Checks will be returned by mail if the requested class is already full. Terms for partial or full refunds may be viewed on the class page of our website (rubysclaystudio.org).
