Announcements: No Cobalt Oxide Please don’t use cobalt oxide on the outside of your work as it will flash on other work in the kiln and get all over the shelves. It is alright to use if it is an ingredient in a glaze or under a glaze but as a wash or stain on top of any glaze or raw clay and it will flash. This includes signing the bottom of your work with it as well. Parking in Driveway If you park in the driveway you must have a note on the windshield that states who at the studio will be able to move your car immediately and that person must be at the studio at all times (which includes no quick runs to the corner store). The reason is so that people who need to unload or load can ask you to move your car. Glaze Room/Mopping reminder Mopping the floor after glazing is required. There is a mop and bucket in the glaze area. If the bucket is empty there is a hose to fill it right by the stairs going down to the pug room. Please mop after every use.

Did you know - You could change your locker? If you are unhappy with your locker, you can move to another locker once it becomes available. To do this, make a list of all the other lockers you would prefer to move into. The Managers will keep your name on a special list and will contact you when one of these lockers becomes free. Please note that we don't often get much notice before people vacate their lockers. For this reason, we request that when you get a call from us you make a special effort to confirm the move and move your belongings within a day or two of the call. If you have further questions about switching lockers, please contact a manager during office hours.
